Processing through Evry to Handelsbanken and Elavon had an incident this morning from 06.00 to 06.30 CET. During the half hour outage all transactions where declined.

During the outage Evry reported an error code that according to their documentation is a hard decline, where the card should not be used again. The error code was misleading as the problem was actually a processing error. This has negative impact as declines could wrongly be interpreted as an issue with the card. We are in contact with Evry to have this resolved. Hard declined cards during the incident can be retried.
